For twenty years I lived in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, and for 13 years I called Boulder, Colorado, home. Desiring to get closer to family and closer to the ocean, I decided to move. With one son on the East Coast and the other on the West Coast, it was a difficult decision. In 2010, Christian (my significant other) and I ventured west. Ventura is mid-way between Malibu and Santa Barbara (where one of my sons lives). My other son subsequently moved from the Philadelphia area to Chapel Hill, NC.

I love living in a beach community here in California. One nostalgic event for me since I've lived here was seeing the Beach Boys perform at Surfers Point in Ventura. The music from our generation lives on!

Clem was a kind, happy-go-lucky guy. He and I went to the senior prom together. Such sweet memories from our youth! I am so happy to have known him and to have shared a moment in time. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May you rest in peace, Clem. Here's to a life well lived!

Louis was truly one of a kind! How it saddens me to learn of his passing! He and I went to the junior prom together--such a sweet memory. Louis was upbeat and kind. And let's not forget his infectious smile! My heart goes out to his family. Rest in peace, Louis.

Darlene and I lived on the same street and walked to the bus stop every morning. I've noticed the word "sweet" used over and over again to describe her. Absolutely! Darlene was sweet and also very kind. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
